Ecco il suo parere finale:
I honestly thought my favourite stage was decided before playing this stage. My mind has been changed.
Seeing that this level was designed to take 20 minutes the first time around, I was quite worried that I would die and have to do it all over again. Like the other hacks that make dragon coins count in some way, you saved the progress, and I appreciate that.
The level has a lot of obstacles that are very capable of slapping the player around a lot, but there's no frustrating knockback, and there's a lot of health capacity and hearts around to compensate. The difficulty is very reasonable, and balanced out in a way that makes the stage likely approachable by even less-skilled players.
I loved the smaller touches, like the ghosts coming out of the graves in the graveyard. The portraits above doors to unique areas being very clear about what you're going to find (Admittedly, a bit out of place, but not really in a bad way).
I can see that the sound was heavily taken into consideration here. The music is fantastic (Composed by Redngreen? Please tell me they have a soundcloud or something), and the ambient sound being dampened indoors is another little thing that makes things feel just right.
While audio and visuals don't make a good level, they make a fantastic atmosphere, and you absolutely nailed that. I pretty much loved everything about this. There aren't even unnecessary jumpscares. Or out of place anime girl portraits! I can certainly appreciate a lack of pandering.
This level oozes atmosphere, plays really well, and is without a doubt my favourite entry. Beautiful work!
